Job summary

The St. Regis Rome seeks an Executive Pastry Chef who will lead the pastry team and oversee all bakery operations for our restaurants and banquets. You will personally prepare pastries while guiding the team to deliver quality, consistent products and maintain budgetary standards.

Responsibilities include developing staff, ensuring sanitation, and upholding Marriott food safety policies, with focus on guest satisfaction across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Must have high standards in pastry production, sanitation and food safety.
• Education: high school diploma +4 years culinary exp; or 2-year degree +3 years.

Responsibilities

• Leads pastry team and oversees daily operations.
• Prepares and decorates pastries to brand standards.
• Trains staff and ensures quality, consistency and sanitation.
• Manages inventory, purchasing and waste controls.
• Supports restaurant and banqueting service to guests.
