Job summary

A seasoned IT Support professional is sought by A&O IT Group in Italy to join as a freelance contractor (partita IVA) for an initial 12-month engagement in Rome. The role covers desktop support, applications, and end-user computing tasks across Windows environments, with on-site coverage from 8:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, and potential out-of-hours on-call as required.

The candidate will diagnose and resolve non-recurring issues, perform asset inventory, assist with deployments and upgrades,

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in desktop support or recent graduate.
• Experience with Windows desktop OS and Office applications.
• Strong communication in English and Italian.
• Ability to work in a project-based environment and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, and resolve end-user IT issues including desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Provide 1st line IT support and document all tickets.
• Perform asset inventory and assist with deployments and upgrades.
• Coordinate with procurement for hardware and software.
• Offer on-site support from 8:00 to 19:00, with after-hours on-call as needed.
