Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking a passionate Commis de Partie to join our culinary team in Florence. You will help create exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while upholding the highest standards of excellence that define Four Seasons.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen stations, operating equipment safely, monitoring quality and stock, minimizing waste, and supporting cross-area prep and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience or experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
• Proficient knife skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
• English proficiency is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to recipes and standards.
• Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations, ensuring readiness for service.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality, stock levels, and proper storage procedures, including rotation and labeling.
• Minimize food waste and support cost-control initiatives.
• Assist with food preparation, kitchen setup, and cleaning activities across different kitchen areas as needed.
