Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience or experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Fluency in Italian; English proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and sweet creations in line with recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and maintain pastry stations and mise en place for service.
• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels, food rotation, labeling, and storage for quality and safety.
• Minimize food waste and support cost-control practices.
• Assist with preparation for shifts and maintain pastry and kitchen areas.
• Support other kitchen sections when required.
