Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia reopens under the new name Le Graal Cortina, part of the luxury collection “Le Graal”.
Le Graal Cortina is a 5-star luxury “Leading Hotel of the World”, open all – year, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service. The goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered. The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience — from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.
Main Activities
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as directed by the Chef de Partie, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate.
- Ingredient Management: Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and organized. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, portioning, and measuring.
- Maintaining Hygiene: Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and the kitchen’s stringent procedures.
- Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient working environment in a confined space.
- Adaptability: Adapt to the unique challenges of working in a mobile kitchen, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met despite the dynamic environment.
- Grooming: constant highest level of personal hygiene (e.g., keep your fingernails short and clean, keep your hair and beards neat and tidy, wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap, work on a clean surface, etc.).
Prerequisites
- Proven experience (at least 1-2 years) in a structured kitchen, preferably in a high‑end, fine dining restaurant. Experience in a luxury hotel is a plus.
- Basic culinary training or relevant certification is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Attention to details and a commitment to producing high‑quality dishes.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team and other staff.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the unique challenge of cooking in an opening and Annual 5-star Luxury Hotel.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle high‑pressure situations.
- Proficiency in English as well as Italian is a plus.
- Legal right to work in Italy.

- Direct job contract with the Hotel in compliance with CCNL Turismo Confcommercio (H052),
