Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Commercial Excellence Junior Analyst Trainee for a 6-month internship in Italy and Iberia. You will support development and execution of commercial strategies, gain hands-on data analysis experience, and work with CRM and CommEx data to drive sales effectiveness.

The role offers training, guidance, and increasing independence within the local Commercial Excellence team, with the potential to extend for another 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Pharmaceutical, or related quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Italian; Spanish is a plus.
• High learning agility and self-motivation.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Experience or knowledge of Excel and other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support conducting analysis and delivering actionable insights to address business needs.
• Support the local incentives process, including quota-to-payout and President’s Club administration.
• Support providing insights and recommendations on commercial execution based on CommEx data.
• Support execution of core CommEx processes, including account profiling, segmentation, territory design, and incentive programs.
• Assist in training and onboarding for core CommEx platforms (Salesforce, Einstein Analytics).
• Review and track dashboards to monitor KPIs and enable data-driven decision-making.
