ABB is seeking a Commercial Excellence Technology Lead to shape and drive the technology agenda across our commercial processes. You will connect business needs with technology possibilities, translating challenges into scalable solutions that improve productivity, decision quality, and customer experience.

The role sits within ABB's Robotics business as part of the Commercial and Pricing Excellence team, collaborating with Business Process Owners, Sales, IT/IS, Data, and Digital teams to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, CS, IS, business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong ability to grasp complex systems, architectures, data flows, and dependencies.
• Experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation in B2B commercial processes.
• Broad understanding of enterprise platforms, APIs, automation, data analytics, AI capabilities.
• Proactive, pragmatic problem-solver fluent in English; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology roadmap for commercial processes (quotation, pricing, orders, service, parts).
• Identify opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, and total cost of ownership.
• Map the commercial technology landscape across platforms, integrations, APIs, and analytics.
• Evaluate options with market scans, build-versus-buy studies, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, IT/IS, architecture, data, cybersecurity, and partners.
• Promote reuse and governance; measure adoption, cycle time, productivity, and value.
