Job summary

ABB is seeking a Commercial Excellence Technology Lead to shape and drive the technology agenda across our commercial processes. The role connects business needs with technology possibilities, translating challenges into scalable solutions that improve productivity, decision quality, and customer experience.

It is part of the Commercial and Pricing Excellence team, working with Business Process Owners, Sales, IT/IS, Data, and Digital teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that scale across

Qualifications

• Strong technology understanding and ability to grasp complex systems, architectures, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience shaping or delivering technology-enabled business transformation in B2B processes such as quotation, pricing, sales, orders.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise platforms, automation, data analytics, and digital self-service.
• English fluency is essential; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology roadmap for commercial processes including quotation, pricing, agreements, order management, service, and spare parts.
• Identify and prioritize technology opportunities based on business value, feasibility, and total cost of ownership.
• Build a view of the commercial technology landscape covering platforms, integrations, APIs, and data analytics.
• Evaluate options with market scanning, build-versus-buy assessments, and proofs of concept with clear rationale.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, IT/IS, architecture, data, cybersecurity, and partners to scale enterprise solutions.
• Promote reuse, interoperability, and governance; measure adoption, cycle time, productivity, and value.
