Job summary

Trane Italia is seeking a Cold Container Storage (CCS) Rental Sales Engineer to promote and sell storage rental solutions across Italy. You will leverage technical sales experience to build relationships, generate new business, and hit sales targets with a focus on customer needs.

You will identify potential customers, develop strategies, and collaborate with engineering to tailor container solutions, while maintaining a robust CRM-driven pipeline and delivering regular forecasts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in container cold storage or refrigeration.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and container cold storage solutions is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.
• Ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Self-motivation and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using a CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers in industries needing container cold storage.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and convert them into opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors and opportunities.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update the CRM with current data.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials supporting sales.
• Perform site visits and assessments to tailor storage solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with engineering to design customized storage solutions per specs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.
• Prepare regular sales reports and track forecasts and metrics.
