Danfoss is seeking a Backend Engineer to help build cloud-native backend services powering IoT solutions. You will implement scalable architectures, work with Go, TypeScript (NestJS), and Python, and collaborate with senior engineers to evolve platform core services.

Hybrid role based in Sofia with opportunities for long-term career development. The team emphasizes modern cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, and best practices across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience developing cloud-native backend services in an event-driven architecture (Kafka).
• Strong experience with Go, plus professional experience in TypeScript (NestJS) and Python.
• Experience building scalable, reliable, production-grade solutions with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of MQTT and Sparkplug B is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English and ability to collaborate in an international engineering environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain cloud-native backend services, delivering new features for the Cloud Platform.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable backend solutions within an event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with product teams and senior engineers to evolve Platform Core Services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle via code reviews, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and help optimize their output to improve efficiency and quality across projects.
