Danfoss is seeking a software developer to build the foundation of an intelligent edge platform that connects and monitors field devices in real time. You will help customers process critical data closer to its source, improving reliability and efficiency.

You will design scalable backend services, implement MQTT messaging, and own features end-to-end from architecture to production, contributing to a platform that reduces waste, saves energy, and supports sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rust and Go for backend services.
• Hands-on MQTT and real-time messaging experience.
• Experience designing and deploying microservices in edge environments.
• Ability to own solutions through the full development lifecycle.
• Professional English communication for collaboration and technical documentation.
• Proactive, 'Let’s get it done' mindset and problem solving.
• End-to-end ownership from code, tests, CI/CD to production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services in Rust and Go to support real-time edge computing solutions.
• Develop reliable messaging and connectivity capabilities using MQTT to ensure seamless device communication and data flow.
• Own features from architecture and development through deployment and production support to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Create APIs and integration solutions that connect field devices with cloud-based services and applications.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
