World Food Programme in Rome, Italy, seeks an experienced Team Lead for Cloud Infrastructure Services to guide a skilled team of Cloud Specialists and shape the cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will drive FinOps to optimize cloud spend, partner with cybersecurity for hardened security practices, and translate technical needs into business cases for executives. This international role requires a deep cloud architecture background and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant field, or First University degree with two additional years of related work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in supporting production applications and/or administrating of Enterprise IT Services in Cloud and Hybrid environments with distributed 24x7 operations.
• Fluency in English language. Intermediate knowledge of a second official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese).

• Provide technical vision and leadership to manage the Cloud Infrastructure Services team.
• Lead design of robust, scalable cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and oversee growth planning.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud spending and partner with cybersecurity to implement security practices.
• Translate technical infrastructure needs into financial business cases for executive approval.
