Job summary

Saipem in Fano ( PU ) is seeking a Buyer to support the ENCAR Business Line. You will manage RFQ/RFPs, negotiate contracts and costs, analyze prices, and handle purchase orders while maintaining supplier relationships.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics/Business Administration and at least two years in oil & gas procurement. English skills (B2/C1) are required. Hybrid work model offered with travel potential.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• At least two years of Buyer experience in Oil & Gas.
• English proficiency at level B2/C1.

Purpose of the position:

As BUYER, you will respond to the Fano Piping and Pipeline Purchasing Manager and be part of the ENCAR Business Line.

• RFQ/RFP management
• Commercial negotiations (Contractual clauses)
• Commercial negotiations (Cost/delivery optimization and savings)

What are we looking for?

Education:

Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Engineering or Economics and Business Administration

Experience:

at least two years as a Buyer within Oil & Gas

Languages:

English - B2/C1

Technical/IT Skills:

• MS OFFICE - advanced
• SAP
• COPILOT and/or other similar AI Chatbot(s)/Agents

What else should you know?

You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the Project assigned.
