Job summary

Jumeirah Capri Palace in Capri is seeking a Bartender for the 2027 summer season. You will welcome guests, take orders, and craft cocktails and beverages to the highest standards while maintaining a warm and professional service.

You will know cocktails, wines, and beverages to advise guests; handle payments following cashiering procedures; keep stock par levels, and maintain fridge temperature logs. The role involves opening, closing and cleaning tasks to ensure spotless service.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to Beverage Recipes.
• Serves alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to defined standards.
• Ensures that drinks are prepared and served as per standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a complete knowledge of cocktails, beverages and wines to advise guests and colleagues when necessary.
• Collects money for drinks served and process financial transactions according to Jumeirah cashiering procedures.
• Ensures that all stock is established as per par levels and stored according to the Food Hygiene Standards.
• Undertakes opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date temperature records for all fridge units within the bar whilst on duty.

An opportunity has arisen for a Bartender to join the summer season 2027 of Jumeirah Capri Palace.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Takes orders from customers in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to Beverage Recipes.
• Serves alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to defined standards.
• Ensures that the guest is presented with the correct order and that all drinks are prepared and served as agreed in the standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a complete knowledge of cocktails, beverages and wines to advise the guests and colleagues when necessary.
• Collects money for drinks served and process financial transactions according to Jumeirah cashiering procedures.
