Job summary

Jumeirah Capri Palace is hiring a bartender in Anacapri to join the summer season 2027. The role involves taking orders, mixing and serving cocktails and beverages, and maintaining bar operations in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of bartending experience in a luxury brand, be fluent in Italian and English (third language a plus), and hold food and beverage handling certifications. Seasonal contract and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a luxury hospitality brand.
• Proficient in Italian and fluent in English; a third language is an advantage.
• Knowledge of alcohol pairing and taste.
• Food and alcohol handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to Beverage Recipes.
• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to defined standards.
• Ensures guests receive correct orders and that all drinks are prepared and served as SOPed.
• Maintains knowledge of cocktails, beverages and wines to advise guests and colleagues.
• Collects money for drinks served and processes transactions according to cashiering procedures.
• Ensures stock levels are as per par levels and stored per Food Hygiene Standards.
• Undertakes opening, closing and cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.
• Maintains accurate temperature records for fridge units within the bar.
