Job summary

Unobravo is seeking an Accountant to join the Finance Team in Milan. You will own the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams in a structured corporate environment.

The role requires accuracy, attention to detail and a strong knowledge of VAT rules, ERP (NetSuite) and Excel, with opportunities to contribute to month-end close and financial reporting. Travel to Naples and other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Experience managing the Accounts Payable cycle
• Strong knowledge of Italian VAT regulations including reverse charge and cross-border transactions
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work accurately with financial data in a structured environment
• Clear and assertive communication, able to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers
• Familiarity with AI tools to automate repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of consolidation and multi-entity accounting
• Experience with ERP implementations or integrations

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting operations supporting month-end and year-end closing
• Manage supplier invoices from Italy, EU and non-EU countries, applying reverse charge and VAT rules
• Reconcile supplier open items and perform regular account reconciliations
• Support accruals, prepayments and provisions for invoices not yet received
• Reconcile OPEX accruals with monthly cost forecasts
• Ensure cost allocation to relevant cost centers
• Support statutory financial statements and consolidation activities
• Review supplier master data and reconcile invoices with POs
• Monitor payment methods and related tools for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
