Job summary

ESP Global Services is seeking an Airport IT Support Engineer to provide on-site desktop support at Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP) with occasional travel to Linate. You will support automated passenger processing systems and keep airport technology operational.

The role requires strong Microsoft software knowledge, basic networking, and hardware skills. A valid driving license and airport security eligibility are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft software and Windows operating environments.
• Knowledge of network protocols, PCs, servers, and configurations.
• Ability to use a multimeter to check voltages and circuits.
• Valid driving license and eligibility for airport security clearance.
• Italian language at advanced level; English conversational.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular routine and preventative maintenance on passenger processing equipment at the airport.
• Respond to incidents and service requests from the Global Service Desk within SLAs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues affecting airport IT equipment.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with colleagues and customers.
• Identify spares and advise the Global Service Desk to keep incidents up to date.
• Conduct regular floor-walking and proactive checks to pre-empt issues.
