Job summary

Avnet Silica in Italy is seeking an experienced Supplier Business Development Manager to lead supplier development initiatives, identify opportunities, and optimize our supplier network in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will manage supplier plans, drive opportunities in AI, industrial, automotive, and networking, and collaborate with product groups on pricing and market knowledge. Occasional travel across Italy is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SBDM or a related role is mandatory.
• Education in electronic field is desirable.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manages the supplier business plan and implementation process.
• Align supplier goals with the company to achieve shared objectives.
• Identify and drive new supplier opportunities across key markets.
• Participate in supplier reviews and provide data to resolve issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication during price negotiations.
• Forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections.
• Drive demand creation and design-in activities for FPGA solutions.
