• Ability to work 24x7 on production support and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 production support for Linux, WAS, and FileNet platforms.
• Perform health checks and troubleshoot performance, deployments, JVM, clustering.
• Collaborate with development and Infra teams for deployments and fixes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Document procedures and maintain knowledge base.

Role : Websphere production support

Location: Navi Mumbai

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

• We are looking for a proactive and skilled Production Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux, SQL, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and IBM FileNet Administration.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications in production and non-production environments, while coordinating closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Provide 24x7 production support for applications and middleware hosted on Linux, WAS, and FileNet platforms.
• Perform daily health checks of Linux servers, WebSphere environments, and FileNet repositories.
• Troubleshoot issues related to application server performance, deployments, JVM, clustering, and connectivity.
• Administer and support IBM FileNet (installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting).
• Execute and optimize SQL queries; assist with database performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams for application deployments, upgrades, and fixes.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, SOPs, and technical knowledge base.
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix system administration (commands, troubleshooting, shell scripting).
• Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle) query writing, debugging, optimization.
• Solid expertise in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration installation, configuration, deployments, performance tuning, JVM monitoring.
• Experience in IBM FileNet Administration Content Engine, Process Engine, Workplace/ICM, user and security management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
