Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Production Support and Application Support activities.
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere installation, configuration, deployment, and administration.
• Experience in troubleshooting application and server-related issues.
• Knowledge of JVM tuning, Heap Dumps, Thread Dumps, and GC Analysis.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL Certificates, and Networking concepts.
• Experience in Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Knowledge of Application Deployment and Environment Management.
• Experience with Log Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Understanding of Web Servers such as IBM HTTP Server (IHS) or Apache.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for WebSphere environments.
• Monitor application health and server performance.
• Analyze and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Perform application deployments and server configurations.
• Troubleshoot JVM, memory, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Support production releases, maintenance activities, and change implementations.
• Prepare operational documentation, SOPs, and support reports.
• Participate in on-call support and critical incident management.
