Job summary

The Whole Truth in Mumbai seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, and team supervision. This role reports to Lead - Warehousing and focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive process improvements, manage ERP-based stock records, and coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics to meet SLAs and optimize space utilization in the Bhiwandi warehouse.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (Supply Chain/Operations preferred).
• 5–10 years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• 2–3 years in a team-handling role.
• Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good Excel skills.
• People management and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day inbound, storage, picking, packing and dispatch; optimize space and layout; monitor inventory accuracy; drive adherence to SLAs; implement SOPs.
• Inventory Management: Maintain stock records in WMS/ERP; conduct cycle counts and audits; resolve discrepancies; ensure FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
• Team Management: Lead, train and supervise warehouse staff; plan manpower and shifts; drive productivity and safety culture.
• Process Improvement & Reporting: Track KPIs (fill rate, TAT, productivity, accuracy); identify gaps; share MIS with stakeholders; collaborate with procurement, sales and logistics.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure safety norms and audit readiness; oversee vendor and transporter compliance within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure optimal space utilization and warehouse layout planning.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage/pilferage.
• Drive adherence to SLAs for order processing and dispatch timelines.
• Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs and process controls.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records in WMS/ERP systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable

Team Management

• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Plan manpower allocation and shift rosters.
• Drive productivity, discipline, and performance management.
• Build a strong safety-fi rst and ownership culture on the floor.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Track key warehouse KPIs (fi ll rate, TAT, productivity, accuracy, etc.).
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share daily/weekly/monthly MIS with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to safety norms, statutory compliance, and audit readiness.
• Oversee vendor and transporter compliance within the warehouse

Key Requirements:

Education:
