Job summary

Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, QA, and order processing in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. The role requires coordinating with supply chain and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in warehousing, strong leadership, and solid IT/WMS skills, with a track record of improving processes and maintaining strict compliance with SOPs. Mumbai-based role with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse/logistics role, preferably FMCG.
• Experience leading a team of warehouse executives.
• Familiarity with FMCG logistics and supply chain operations.
• Strong IT/warehouse management system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, identification, dispatch, and QA of goods.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas efficiently.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through IT systems and audits.
• Handle order sheets, invoices, POs, driver sheets, and return notes.
• Coordinate with supply chain, operations, and sales to resolve issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements for warehouse efficiency.
• Manage and coach a team of warehouse executives.
• Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Execute any other tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee receiving, identification, dispatch, and quality assurance of goods.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas efficiently.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through IT systems and periodic audits.
• Operational Tasks: Handle operational processes such as printing order sheets, invoices, purchase orders, driver sheets, and return notes. Maintain records, document necessary data, and prepare reports to monitor warehouse status.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Interface with supply chain, operations, and sales teams to resolve issues and answer queries. Order new supplies in a timely manner to sustain production levels.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency. Innovate or adjust existing procedures to align with operational requirements.
• Staff Management: Assess staffing needs based on the workload of incoming materials and outgoing shipments. Manage and coach a team of warehouse executives, ensuring effective communication and training.
• Compliance and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transaction data. Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Additional Responsibilities: Execute any other tasks assigned by the management as required.
