Job summary

Star Worldwide Group is seeking a senior warehouse professional to oversee overall warehouse operations, safety, and asset protection. You will manage a team of 10–20 staff, plan daily jobs, and ensure accurate shipment records and labeling.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with warehouse software, and the ability to resolve disputes, optimize processes, and maintain ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
• Hands-on approach.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall warehouse operations and safety of personnel and goods.
• Maintain records of all shipments received, stored and processed (import/export).
• Monitor loading/unloading processes and ensure accurate labeling and storage.
• Plan daily jobs and coordinate with supervisors/coordinators for operations.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, fire safety and pest control records and servicing schedules.
• Ensure ISO/FAIM, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 compliance.
• Manage teams including packers, drivers, carpenters and resolve staff issues.

Job Description

• Overall Warehouse operations responsibilities
• Safety of the men involved in warehouse operations, Safety of the warehouse and customers goods
• Records of all shipments received in warehouse Import, Export, storage & art work
• Monitoring of loading/unloading process of all shipments at warehouse
• Provide all details of the individual shipments to coordinators(wt/volume etc)
• Ensuring the shipments are correctly labelled, stored & marked
• Monitor all shipments operational requirement with supervisors/coordinators
• Scheduling and planning for daily jobs
• General maintenance of warehouse, Maintenance of all equipment in warehouse
• Maintenance of all vehicles records and periodical services
• Periodically maintenance of all fire equipment and records
• Maintenance of pest treatment of warehouse , office area & their records
• Measurement/calibrations of weighing scale , Gen set, periodical services and records
• Purchasing & Selection of vendors
• Maintaining of buffer stock of materials and issuing of requisitions
• Ensure that quality &quantity and specifications of the materials supplied by the vendor's
• Follow up with supplier's
• Maintaining of stock register while receiving/issuing of materials
• Monitoring of supplier performance and forwarding of their evaluation reports
• Monitoring/issuing of material to the supervisor at site for individual job
• Recruitment of warehouse employee's
• Training to the supervisors & packers
• To look after leave forecast/personal welfare/problems of warehouse employee's
• Controlling of outside transporters, required for forwarding and pick up of the shipments
• Monitoring of petty cash for warehouse
• Monitoring and forwarding of material requirement of branch offices
• Responsible for ISO/FAIM ISO audit of warehouse operations
• Ensure implementation of all operation processes as per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018, ONLY.
• To ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
• To plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock, such as Fine Art or fragile products.
• To ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration (through Red Sky) as well as systemised storage and retrieval systems.
• To manage teams comprising of packers/drivers/carpenters and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training and discipline of staff. As well as ensure that Quality Standards across all
• Authority of managing the team and ensuring tasks assigned are completed as directed and if not, action can be initiated.

Candidate Profile

• Should be responsible and senior professional with expertise in managing warehouse with minimum 10-20 team members.
• Should be comfortable working on online softwares & system
• Gets the best from everyone on the team / extended team.
• Should be problem solver
• Should be able to resolve disputes between team members.

Education and Background

Candidates should have a recognized qualification for Masters / Bachelors Degree or equivalent level.
