Job summary

B2P Essentials seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager in India to lead end-to-end D2C/e-commerce warehouse operations. The role requires 5+ years hands-on experience, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfilment and efficient manpower utilisation.

You will coordinate with logistics partners, marketplaces and internal teams, implement SOPs and drive KPI performance while maintaining safety and compliance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience in D2C/E-commerce warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end warehouse activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfilment, efficient manpower utilisation, and smooth coordination with logistics and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Manage complete day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Oversee inwarding, GRN, put-away, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure orders are processed and dispatched within defined TAT.
• Maintain proper warehouse layout, storage systems and material movement.
• Implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure regular stock reconciliation.
• Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.
• Monitor stock variance, damages, shortages and excess inventory.
• Ensure proper SKU identification, bin management and FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
• Track fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

D2C Order Fulfillment

• Manage high-volume D2C/e‑commerce order processing.
• Monitor Order-to-Ship, Pick-to-Pack and Dispatch TAT.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing with minimum errors.
• Coordinate with marketplaces, D2C platforms and logistics partners.
• Monitor RTO, NDR, cancellations and customer returns.

Logistics & Dispatch

• Coordinate with courier/logistics partners for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipment exceptions and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor courier performance, delivery TAT and RTO percentage.
• Ensure proper documentation for dispatches and returns.

Team Management

• Lead, train and manage warehouse supervisors, pickers, packers and other warehouse staff.
• Allocate manpower based on daily order volumes.
• Monitor team productivity and attendance.
• Set operational KPIs and ensure team performance.
• Maintain discipline and safety standards within the warehouse.

MIS & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse MIS reports.
• Track KPIs such as:
  • Inventory Accuracy
  • Order Fulfillment Rate
  • Pick & Pack Accuracy
  • Dispatch TAT
  • RTO %
  • Stock Variance
  • Warehouse Productivity
  • Manpower Utilization
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in D2C / E-commerce warehouse management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations.
• Experience handling high-volume order fulfillment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and reconciliation.
• Experience with WMS / ERP / inventory management systems.
• Good knowledge of logistics and courier operations.
• Strong team-handling and leadership skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong Excel/MIS reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced D2C environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in D2C brands, e-commerce fulfilment centres, FMCG, consumer products, retail or 3PL operations will be preferred.
