Qualifications

• Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Admin or related field.
• Experience in e-commerce warehouse, fulfillment, logistics or supply chain operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and MS Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, storage, picking, packing and dispatch for high-volume e-commerce orders.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy; conduct cycle counts and audits.
• Lead warehouse team; manage attendance, productivity and training.
• Ensure WMS/ERP/OMS usage and accurate system entries for movements and stock.
• Coordinate with marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho) and logistics partners.
• Drive SOPs, safety, 5S, FIFO/FEFO and cost-control initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs: order accuracy, on-time dispatch, warehouse cost.

Job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Warehouse Manager to manage the complete warehouse operations of our e-commerce business.

The candidate will be responsible for inward, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, order fulfillment, manpower management, logistics coordination, and process improvement. The role requires strong knowledge of e-commerce operations, WMS/ERP systems, inventory control, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including inward, receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure smooth and timely processing of all customer and marketplace orders.
• Maintain proper warehouse layout, SKU/bin locations and optimum space utilization.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and movement of products.
• Maintain warehouse discipline, cleanliness, security and housekeeping.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and system stock.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits and physical verification.
• Identify and control stock shortages, excess inventory, damages and discrepancies.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and ageing inventory.
• Ensure proper SKU, batch and location-wise inventory tracking.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Planning and E-commerce teams for stock availability.

3. E-commerce Order Fulfillment

• Manage high-volume e-commerce order processing from order receipt to final dispatch.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling and shipment processing.
• Monitor order processing TAT/SLA and minimize delayed or cancelled orders.
• Coordinate with marketplace and logistics teams for smooth order fulfillment.
• Handle Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and other marketplace operations, wherever applicable.
• Manage FBA/FBM/marketplace dispatch requirements.

4. Quick Commerce Operations

• Manage inventory and replenishment for Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and other quick-commerce channels, wherever applicable.
• Ensure timely stock allocation and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate inventory visibility to avoid stock-outs and order cancellations.
• Coordinate with quick-commerce partners for dispatches, discrepancies and returns.

5. Returns & Reverse Logistics

• Manage customer returns, marketplace returns, replacements and reverse logistics.
• Ensure proper QC and system updating of returned products.
• Track damaged, defective and non-saleable inventory.
• Maintain proper records of return-related discrepancies.

6. Team Management

• Lead and supervise warehouse executives, supervisors, pickers, packers and support staff.
• Prepare manpower requirements and shift schedules according to order volume.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline and individual/team performance.
• Train employees on warehouse SOPs, safety procedures and operational processes.
• Set daily productivity targets and ensure achievement.

7. WMS / ERP & MIS

• Ensure proper usage of WMS, ERP, OMS and inventory management systems.
• Maintain accurate system entries for inward, outward, transfers, returns and stock adjustments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
• Track inventory accuracy, dispatch TAT, order accuracy, productivity, returns and stock variance.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and reporting is preferred.

8. Logistics & Dispatch

• Coordinate with courier, transport and 3PL partners.
• Ensure timely handover of shipments and proper dispatch documentation.
• Monitor pending shipments, failed pickups, shipment delays and delivery issues.
• Resolve operational issues with logistics partners on priority.

9. Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Develop and implement warehouse SOPs and operational processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve warehouse productivity.
• Optimize manpower, space and operational costs.
• Implement 5S, FIFO/FEFO and best warehouse management practices, wherever applicable.
• Continuously improve order accuracy and fulfillment speed.

10. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety policies and company SOPs.
• Maintain safe working conditions and proper material handling practices.
• Ensure warehouse equipment and storage areas are maintained properly.
• Maintain all required operational records and documentation.

Candidate Profile

Education: Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration or a related field.

Experience: 48 years of relevant experience in e-commerce warehouse, fulfillment, logistics or supply chain operations.
