Job summary

28 South Ventures in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations of a ~20,000 sq ft warehouse at Mysore Road.

You will manage the warehouse team, oversee inbound/outbound movement, monitor stock levels and ensure accurate reporting, with hands-on leadership and discipline.

Candidate should be firm, independent, with basic Excel and report handling; salary is 5 LPA net depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary: 5 LPA to (Net), depending on experience and suitability

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to take complete ownership of the day-to-day operations and overall management of our approximately 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse.

The person will be responsible for managing the warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining discipline, monitoring inventory and warehouse activities, and regularly checking operational reports.

The ideal candidate should be firm, hands-on and capable of managing the entire warehouse team independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete responsibility and ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Manage and supervise the entire warehouse team and ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.
• Ensure proper inward and outward movement of materials/goods.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movement and warehouse records.
• Regularly check and verify warehouse reports and ensure accuracy of data.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper storage, arrangement and handling of materials within the warehouse.
• Monitor loading, unloading, dispatch and receiving activities.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse processes, discipline and operational standards.
• Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams regarding inventory, dispatches and other warehouse requirements.
• Ensure the warehouse is maintained in an organised, clean and safe manner.
• Track team performance and ensure adequate productivity from all warehouse staff.
• Handle day-to-day operational challenges and ensure uninterrupted warehouse functioning.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on warehouse activities and key issues.

Candidate Profile

• Age: 3040 years
• Gender: Male
• Prior experience in warehouse management / warehouse operations is preferred.
• Should have strong team-handling and people-management skills.
• Must be firm and disciplined and capable of managing a large warehouse team.
• Should be comfortable taking complete responsibility for warehouse operations.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Should be comfortable working with reports, records and basic Excel/computer-based systems.
• Languages: Hindi and Kannada.
• Should be hands-on, responsible and capable of working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to regularly monitor operational reports.

Compensation & Working Schedule

Salary: 5 LPA (Net), based on experience and suitability.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday.

Location: Mysore Road, 5th Cross, Bengaluru.
