Role Definition

We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing space and logistics, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer and project orders.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of building materials
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.

Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate deliveries and dispatches with transport teams and drivers.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
• Track and manage order fulfillment and delivery timelines.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, loaders, and pickers.
• Assign tasks and ensure proper training of employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement productivity improvement initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Enforce proper handling and storage of hazardous or heavy materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of the warehouse facility as needed.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, and shipments.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, shrinkage, and warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in the building materials or any industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and logistics.
• Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems

Preferred Experience
