Job summary

Atchara Venkatraman / Bump2cradle is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse operations in Bengaluru and nearby areas. You will oversee inbound/outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, packing staff, dispatch processes and related documentation.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of warehouse/inventory experience, be comfortable with warehouse software, and demonstrate strong numerical and coordination skills to ensure timely deliveries and optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Receive stock, verify quantity and condition, update inward records.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels in the system.
• Maintain SKU-wise stock records and ensure stock accuracy.
• Conduct physical stock verification and cycle counts.
• Monitor fast and slow-moving inventory and prevent stock-outs.
• Coordinate with purchasing/management for stock requirements.

Preferred Location: Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Andhra Pradesh or nearby areas

We are looking for a responsible and organised Warehouse Supervisor who can independently manage day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory, packing staff, inward and outward movement of products, returns, stock records and dispatch documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working with computers and warehouse/inventory software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Receive incoming stock, verify quantity and condition, and update inward records.
• Manage inventory and stock levels accurately in the system.
• Maintain SKU-wise stock records and ensure physical stock matches system stock.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts.
• Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving inventory.
• Notify management in advance when stock is running low and help prevent stock-outs.
• Support inventory planning and replenishment planning based on sales and stock movement.
• Coordinate with the purchase/management team regarding upcoming stock requirements.
• Manage order processing, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Supervise and allocate work to packing staff and ensure daily dispatch targets are completed.
• Ensure correct products and quantities are packed before dispatch.
• Handle shipping software, courier portals and warehouse/inventory software.
• Generate and print shipping labels, barcodes, SKU labels, invoices and other dispatch documents.
• Maintain proper records of inward, outward, dispatches, returns and damaged products.
• Handle customer and courier returns, verify returned products and update inventory accordingly.
• Maintain separate records for saleable, damaged, returned and defective inventory.
• Coordinate with courier/logistics partners for pickups and dispatch issues.
• Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO stock movement wherever applicable.
• Organise warehouse racks and ensure every SKU is stored in the correct location.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, discipline and proper storage standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly stock and dispatch reports for management.
• Identify stock discrepancies, missing products or operational errors and report them immediately.
• Ensure packaging materials such as boxes, tapes, labels, pouches and inserts are always sufficiently stocked.
• Reduce packing errors, dispatch errors, damages and inventory mismatches.
• Train and monitor warehouse/packing staff and ensure smooth workflow during high-order periods.
• Coordinate with customer support, accounts, procurement and other teams whenever required.

Skills Required

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/inventory/logistics experience.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Comfortable using computers and different software applications.
• Basic to good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
• Experience with inventory/warehouse/order management software is preferred.
• Should know how to operate barcode/label printers and regular printers.
• Familiarity with courier portals and shipping label generation.
• Good numerical and record-maintenance skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and supervise packing staff.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and take responsibility for warehouse operations.
• Experience in e-commerce/Amazon/Flipkart/D2C warehouse operations will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

We prefer a female candidate with minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably from Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Andhra Pradesh or nearby regions, who is willing to take ownership of warehouse and inventory operations.

Key expectation: The Warehouse Supervisor should always know what stock we have, what is moving, what is running low, what needs to be reordered, what has been dispatched and what has been returned.
