Job summary

USV PRIVATE LIMITED in Maharashtra is seeking a Warehouse Operations role responsible for end-to-end control of warehouse activities in line with cGMP, safety and SOPs.

Key duties include receiving and disposition in SAP, storage and segregation, dispensing and reconciliation, finished goods handling, and cross-functional coordination with plan, procurement and QC. The role emphasizes documentation, housekeeping, material returns, and staff training to ensure uninterrupted supply and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Control end-to-end warehouse operations in compliance with cGMP, Safety and SOPs.
• Receive and record materials in SAP, issue GRN and batch entries.
• Ensure storage segregation with quarantine/accepted/expired statuses and update location charts.
• Oversee or perform dispensing of raw materials using RLAF and calibrated balances; batch-wise reconciliation in SAP.
• Handle finished goods receiving, verification of weights, staging, and coordination of local/export dispatches.
• Maintain GMP logs, temperature/humidity monitoring, data downloads, and filing systems.
• Oversee daily warehouse cleaning, equipment upkeep, gowning checks.
• Manage returns and disposal of materials; coordinate with EHS/housekeeping.
• Cross-functional supply chain support: alert planning/purchasing/head office about shortages.
• Coordinate with QC for sampling, retesting and approvals.
• Process engineering spares, vendor quotes, PO support, invoices and routing for payments.
• Staff training and development; recommend new hires.
• Maintain Warehouse Authorized Person List.

Job description

The primary responsibility of this role is the end-to-end control of warehouse operations in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Operations, Inventory Management & SAP
• Receipt & Disposition: Receive all incoming materials (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Consumables, Engineering/Spares, Admin, Housekeeping, and QC items) against Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP; record Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and batch-wise entries.
• Storage & Segregation: Ensure strict physical segregation and status labeling (Quarantine, Accepted, Expired) under specified storage conditions (Ambient, Cooling Cabinets, Deep Freezers). Maintain and update material location charts for easy retrieval.
• Dispensing & Reconciliation: Supervise or perform dispensing of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials using Reverse Laminar Air Flow (RLAF) and calibrated balances. Perform batch-wise inventory reconciliation in SAP and track expiry/retest dates.
• Finished Goods Handling: Receive finished drugs from production, verify gross container weights, log updates, manage staging, and coordinate local/export dispatches with Logistics.
• cGMP Compliance, Documentation & Housekeeping
• GMP Logbooks & Records: Maintain accurate daily logs for temperature/humidity monitoring, software data downloads (cooling equipment), equipment usage, and document filing systems.
• Facility Hygiene & Maintenance: Oversee daily cleaning of warehouse areas, dispensing utensils, vacuum cleaners, stackers, and RLAF units. Monitor pressure gauges and check gowning procedures/washed gown availability daily.
• Material Returns & Disposal: Manage returns from production and handle expired/rejected materials, transferring authorized waste to EHS/housekeeping personnel for proper disposal.
• Cross-Functional Coordination & Supply Chain Support
• Material Shortages & Planning: Promptly communicate Raw/Packaging material shortages to Planning, Purchase, and Head Office to maintain continuous production.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Coordinate with QC for priority sampling, retesting schedules, and consignment approvals.
• Accounts & Administration: Process engineering spares, vendor quotations, PO preparation support, invoice stamping/delivery challans, and routing for account payments.
• Training, Safety
• Staff Development: Conduct on-the-job training for warehouse staff, technicians, and housekeeping personnel according to SOPs. Recommend new hires for induction.
• Access & Security: Maintain the Warehouse Authorized Person List.
