Job summary

Unichem Laboratories Ltd in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials in compliance with cGMP and GDP guidelines.

The role requires coordinating with Production, QC, QA, and other departments, leading training, and ensuring timely closure of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. You will drive stock accuracy, safety, and productivity, with responsibility for SOPs, SAP releases, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience heading a warehouse in a reputable pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience leading a Quality department in an OSD/Formulations setting.
• Experience with USFDA audit readiness and compliance.
• Strong GMP/cGMP, GDP, and warehouse documentation knowledge.
• Able to coordinate across Production, QC, QA, and other teams.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with receipt and storage of materials per status labels, storage conditions, retrieval procedures, and timely dispensing.
• Ensure products stored per approved documents and SOPs related to warehouse operations.
• Close Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs related to warehouse activities promptly.
• Review inventory reports and take necessary actions to optimize stock.
• Review and sign warehouse records to meet SOP requirements.
• Ensure safety, security of building and stock.
• Prioritize loads per shift to maximize center utilization.
• Provide training on cGMP and departmental procedures and monitor staff performance.
• Execute production plans and meet delivery schedules as per plant commitments.
• Calibrate and verify warehouse equipment; prepare related SOPs.
• Assist finance with stock verification and related activities.
• Motivate and coordinate teamwork to maintain high productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Engineering, Purchase, IT for smooth planning.
• Implement GMP activities within the warehouse.
• Release PRs for raw materials, packing materials, and consumables in SAP.
• Oversee scrap management including segregation, vehicle arrangement, and vendor sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure training completion for new joiners.
• Prepare and maintain Annual Training Calendar; conduct planned sessions.
• Prepare Training Need Identification (TNI) per departmental roles.
• Act as Learning Administrator; prepare training content in LMS and assign SOPs/exams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure products are stored in accordance with approved documentation and procedures related to warehouse operations.
• Ensure timely closure of Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs related to warehouse activities.
• Review and evaluate inventory reports (Daily Receipt, Dead/Nonmoving Stock, Consumption Report) and take necessary actions.
• Review and sign various warehouse records to meet SOP requirements.
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for building and stock security.
• Prioritize loads per shift based on production needs to ensure optimal utilization of work centres.
• Provide training on cGMP and departmental procedures and monitor employee performance and progress.
• Execute production plans and meet delivery schedules as committed by the plant.
• Facilitate calibration and verification of warehouse equipment and prepare related SOPs.
• Assist the finance team with stock verification and related activities.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork to ensure high productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Engineering, Purchase, IT, and other departments for smooth production planning.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP activities within the warehouse.
• Release PRs for raw materials, packing materials, and consumables in SAP.
• Oversee scrap management including segregation, vehicle arrangement, and sale to vendors as per contract.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Ensure completion of departmental training for new joiners.
• Prepare and maintain the Annual Training Calendar and conduct planned training sessions.
• Prepare Training Need Identification (TNI) as per departmental roles.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Strong expertise in GMP/cGMP, GDP, and warehouse documentation compliance.
