Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB is seeking a Warehouse & Dispatch Executive to ensure seamless material flow and information across the supply chain. The role supports service centers at Thane and Talegaon, coordinating with suppliers, managing costs, and controlling inventory.

Responsibilities include procurement coordination, lead-time updates, KIT preparation, and BOM, along with warehouse operations and travel to other service centers as needed. 4–5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Knowledge of inventory classification methods (ABC analysis).
• Understanding of logistics documentation (GRN, delivery notes, invoices, E Way Bills).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate items with service centers to ensure availability and traceability.
• Establish supplier connections for timely procurement and costing.
• Manage costing processes and conduct weekly cost reviews.
• Review and update ABC classification of inventory items.
• Update lead times per PDL.
• Prepare and review KITs for service centers.
• Place orders on PDL and confirm on time.
• Review quarterly forecasting data based on parts consumption.
• Conduct internal audits as per classification (quarterly/half-yearly).
• Follow up on material status with PDL for timely delivery.
• Create GRN for Thane warehouse and oversee shipments.
• Generate delivery notes, invoices, and E Way Bills.
• Coordinate transportation with Indirect Purchase team.
• Oversee warehouse management and inventory for Thane and Talegaon.
• Handle Talegaon operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Travel to support Vizag, Kundli, and Talegaon centers.

Join Alfa Laval Service Team as a Warehouse & Dispatch Executive

The Warehouse & Dispatch Executive is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information across the supply chain, supporting all service centers, and managing warehouse operations at both Thane and Talegaon locations. This role involves coordination with suppliers, cost management, inventory control, and compliance with internal processes to optimize efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Data & Coordination

• Connect items to all service centers to ensure availability and traceability.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier connections for timely procurement.
• Manage costing processes and conduct weekly cost reviews.
• Update and review ABC classification of inventory items.
• Update lead times as per PDL.
• Prepare and review KITs for service centers

Material Availability & Procurement

• Place orders on PDL and ensure timely order confirmation.
• Review forecasting data and update it quarterly based on parts consumption trends.
• Conduct internal audits as per classification (quarterly/half-yearly).
• Follow up on material status with PDL to ensure timely delivery.

Warehouse Operations (Thane & Talegaon)

• Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for the Thane warehouse.
• Generate delivery notes, invoices, and E Way Bills for shipments.
• Arrange transportation in coordination with the Indirect Purchase team.
• Oversee warehouse management and inventory control for both Thane and Talegaon locations.
• Handle all Talegaon warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Travel to and support other service centers located at Vizag, Kundli, and Talegaon warehouse.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or warehouse management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Knowledge of inventory classification methods (e.g., ABC analysis).
