Job summary

Neev Seeds Pvt. Ltd. in Hisar is seeking a Warehouse/Dispatch specialist to ensure FIFO traceability, receive processed seed stock, and run the dispatch plan aligned with the kharif and rabi seasons. You will prepare invoices, e-way bills, and transport docs.

The role requires 2–6 years in warehouse/distribution, familiarity with GST invoicing, and fluency in Hindi with adequate English for transport documents. Extended hours during peak seasons in Hisar Industrial Area.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in warehouse, dispatch or stores.
• Experience in agri-input, FMCG or pharma traceability preferred.
• Working knowledge of GST invoicing and e-way bill generation.
• Hindi, plus English to read transport and GST documents.

Responsibilities

• Receive processed, treated and packed stock and ensure FIFO traceability.
• Build dispatch plan against season calendar for kharif/rabi stock movements.
• Prepare invoices, e-way bills and transport documentation; book vehicles.
• Keep stock accuracy in system; run cycle counts and close variances promptly.
• Manage warehouse conditions: stacking height, moisture control, fumigation, segregation of treated stock.
• Handle sales returns and ageing stock; provide monthly ageing reports to QA and Finance.
• Lead labour and packing teams through peak dispatch periods (4–8 weeks).

Job description

Seed for a kharif sowing has to be sitting in a distributor's godown by May. Not billed in May. Sitting in May. You are the person who makes that true for every dispatch that leaves Hisar, and the person who has to say no when a lot is on hold.

What you will do

• Receive processed, treated and packed stock lot by lot, and put it away so that lot numbers stay traceable and FIFO is genuinely followed rather than written on a board.
• Build the dispatch plan against the season calendar with Sales: kharif stock moving in April and May, rabi stock moving in August and September. Nothing about this schedule is negotiable with the weather.
• Prepare invoices, e-way bills and transport documentation, and book vehicles at rates Finance has approved.
• Keep physical stock accurate against the system. Run cycle counts and close variances in the week they appear, not at year end.
• Manage godown conditions for treated seed: stacking height, dunnage, moisture, rodent and insect control, fumigation records, and hard segregation of treated from untreated stock.
• Handle sales returns and ageing stock, and give QA and Finance a clean monthly ageing report they do not have to correct.
• Run the labour and packing teams through the pre-season crunch, when dispatch volume multiplies for six to eight weeks and everything depends on sequencing.

What you must have

• 2 to 6 years in warehouse, dispatch or stores. Agri-input, FMCG or pharma preferred, because all three run on batch and lot traceability.
• Tally Prime or a comparable ERP, and Excel that includes VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Working knowledge of GST invoicing and e-way bill generation.
• Hindi, plus enough English to read transport and GST documents.

Nice to have

• Seed or agri-input experience, particularly with lot and batch traceability.
• Experience handling treated seed and its safety requirements.
• Forklift or material handling equipment familiarity.
• Experience managing contract labour through a seasonal peak.
