Job summary

Ralson in Doraha, Punjab seeks a hands-on Shift Operations professional to plan daily production schedules, allocate tasks to operators and monitor line speed to meet volume targets.

You will supervise floor teams, drive downtime reduction, ensure QA through process monitoring, maintain shift handovers, and log performance in ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer/Rubber Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• 1–3 years of hands-on production experience in a tyre manufacturing plant or heavy rubber processing industry.

• Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet volume targets.

Job description

• Shift Operations & Target Achievement: Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet volume targets.
• Shop-Floor Management: Assign tasks to operators, monitor line speed, reduce downtime, and ensure optimal utilization of machinery and raw materials.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor ongoing process parameters (temperature, pressure, cure times) to minimize defects.
• Workforce & Labor Management: Supervise, train, and mentor floor operators and contractual laborers. Manage shift rosters, attendance, discipline, and skill-matrix evaluations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate shift logs, production yield reports, rejection metrics, and shift handover documentation in ERP/MES systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer/Rubber Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on production experience in a tyre manufacturing plant or heavy rubber processing industry.
