Job summary

Yajur Fibres Limited is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage assigned shift operations (A, B or C) from start to handover, ensuring smooth machine running and minimal downtime.

You will monitor daily production targets, track material usage, assign tasks to operators and helpers, enforce quality and waste controls, safety norms, and 5S housekeeping, and maintain shift logbooks and handover briefings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering, ITI, or Higher Secondary (12th) / Graduate degree.

• Shift Operations: Manage assigned shift operations (A, B, or C) from start to handover, ensuring smooth machine running and minimal downtime.
• Production Targets: Monitor daily production output, track material usage, and ensure shift production quotas are achieved cleanly and efficiently.
• Workforce Management: Assign daily tasks to operators and helpers, track attendance, and maintain shop-floor discipline.
• Quality & Waste Control: Inspect finished goods periodically for defects, ensure material quality parameters are met, and minimize raw material wastage.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce strict shop-floor safety rules, ensure workers wear proper PPE, and maintain clean work areas (5S principles).
• Shift Reporting: Maintain daily logbooks, log shift output and downtime data, and conduct smooth shift-handover briefings.

Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in a strict rotational shift environment (Shifts A, B, and C).
