Job summary

Balkrishna Industries (BKT) in Bhuj, India, seeks a Manager Production (Tyre Manufacturing) to lead end-to-end tyre production operations and drive process improvements across Mixing, Stock Preparation, Tyre Building, Curing and Finishing. You will ensure targets are met with optimal manpower and machine use.

You will coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain teams, implement Lean/ TPM/ Kaizen/5S, and develop shift managers while analyzing KPIs and preparing MIS reports for

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in tyre manufacturing.
• Mandatory exposure to TBR, PCR, and MCR segments.
• Strong leadership of large shop-floor teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end production operations in tyre manufacturing.
• Hands-on exposure across major tyre manufacturing processes: Mixing, Stock Preparation, Tyre Building, Curing, Finishing & Inspection.
• Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
• Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S).
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams and shift managers.
• Analyze production KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management

• Strong technical understanding of radial tyre manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing large shop-floor teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
