Job summary

Quick Designers And Builders seeks an experienced MEP Site Engineer to plan, supervise and coordinate MEP works across residential and commercial construction sites. You will review drawings, BOQs, and specs, coordinating electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection with architects, civil teams, contractors and vendors.

The role requires strong MEP knowledge, multi-storey project experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD/MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must have BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
• 48 years of relevant MEP experience, preferably in real estate/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, execution and site coordination.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise all MEP works at residential/commercial construction sites.
• Coordinate Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and related MEP services.
• Review MEP drawings, layouts, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, civil teams, contractors and vendors.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Ensure MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor material requirements, consumption and site inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards and applicable building codes.
• Prepare progress reports and coordinate with the Project Manager/Management.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure proper coordination of MEP services with civil and structural works.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Engineering.
• 48 years of relevant MEP experience, preferably in real estate/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, execution and site coordination.
• Experience in multi-storey residential/commercial projects will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of MEP drawings, BOQ and technical specifications.
• Strong contractor/vendor management and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Office will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in high-rise residential projects, luxury apartments or large-scale real estate construction projects will be given preference.
