Job summary

Navin Housing Properties is seeking an MEP Engineer to lead planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities for residential projects in Bengaluru. You will ensure quality, timelines, safety, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

The role requires strong knowledge of MEP systems, familiarity with local codes (NBC, BESCOM/TNEB, BWSSB/CMWSSB), and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 38 years in residential construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems in residential projects.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for smooth execution.
• Review MEP drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications and site conditions.
• Review and validate MEP designs, layouts, and BOQs.
• Identify design discrepancies and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure all systems comply with relevant codes and standards (NBC, local authority norms, BESCOM/TNEB, BWSSB/CMWSSB).
• Monitor and manage MEP contractors and subcontractors.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality workmanship.
• Verify and certify contractor bills based on work progress.
• Ensure all MEP works adhere to drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of execution.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations.
• Prepare and track MEP work schedules in line with project timelines.
• Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of electrical, HVAC, fire-fighting, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure proper documentation, checklists, and handover procedures are followed.
• Maintain records of drawings, approvals, site instructions, and material submittals.
• Prepare MIS reports and update stakeholders on project progress.

Job Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for residential construction projects. Key Responsibilities
