Job summary

Artizen Projects is seeking an experienced MEP site engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP works at project sites, ensuring execution aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules.

You will coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting and other MEP services with project teams, review drawings and BOQs, and prepare progress and inspection reports to support timely completion of projects.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP works at project sites.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Review MEP drawings, layouts, specifications, and BOQs and coordinate with relevant teams for execution.
• Monitor site installation and ensure MEP works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other MEP services as applicable to the project.
• Identify site issues, resolve technical constraints, and coordinate necessary modifications.
• Monitor material requirements, delivery, installation, and quality of MEP materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover of MEP systems.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, checklists, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors and monitor their work progress.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on MEP progress, issues, and requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of MEP works in line with the overall project schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of MEP services and interior fit-out execution.
• Good understanding of MEP drawings, BOQ, specifications, and site coordination.
• Experience in handling HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting works.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and work within tight project timelines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Candidates with 36 years of experience in interior fit-out, commercial buildings, corporate offices, retail, hospitality, or similar projects will be preferred.
