Job summary

Mythri Builders in Bengaluru seeks an experienced MEP Project Lead to supervise and coordinate MEP and firefighting works at residential and commercial sites, ensuring timely and quality execution.

Responsibilities include reviewing IFC/shop drawings and specifications, planning daily and weekly MEP activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, codes and HSE, coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers, and leading site engineers to achieve on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• MEP coordination, site supervision, QA/QC, material verification and quantity checks.
• Ability to read IFC/shop drawings and project specs; BIM/Revit knowledge an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and multi-disciplinary coordination with clients, consultants and contractors.

• Lead site engineers and technicians; implement corrective actions; ensure on-time completion.

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate MEP and firefighting works at residential/commercial project sites, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and MEP layouts and coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams.
• Plan and monitor daily and weekly MEP activities in line with project schedules and construction milestones.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor material requirements, deliveries, quality inspections, and site availability to ensure uninterrupted execution.
• Prepare and manage IRs, MIRs, method statements, work permits, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover of MEP systems, including as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Track project progress, verify subcontractor quantities and bills, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, and technicians while identifying technical issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring on-time project completion

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant MEP construction experience, preferably in residential or commercial real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, site execution, testing & commissioning, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, with the ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications. BIM/Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of NBC, IS standards, applicable building codes, HSE requirements, and MEP quality standards.
• Strong experience in MEP coordination, site supervision, QA/QC, material verification, quantity checking, and contractor/subcontractor management.
• Excellent client, consultant, vendor, and multidisciplinary team coordination skills, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage project priorities, meet deadlines, maintain documentation, and ensure safe, quality, and timely project execution.
