Job summary

Ashok Notebooks invites applications for a Field Sales Representative to drive on-ground sales and build dealer and distributor relationships across the assigned territory in Tamil Nadu. You will visit retailers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers to expand market presence and achieve targets.

You will own the territory with daily travel on two-wheeler, report via smartphone tools, and collaborate with the sales team to optimize merchandising, collections, and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of field sales experience (FMCG, stationery, or consumer goods preferred).
• Two-wheeler and valid driving license mandatory for daily territory travel.
• Strong communication skills in the local language(s) of the territory; English/Hindi a plus.
• Comfortable with target-driven, on-field work.
• Basic familiarity with smartphone-based reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Visit and onboard new retailers, distributors, and wholesalers within the assigned territory.

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for assigned SKUs.
• Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends; report back to the sales team.

This is a field-first role you'll be visiting retailers, wholesalers, stationery distributors, and institutional buyers (schools, offices) to grow our market presence.

• Visit and onboard new retailers, distributors, and wholesalers within the assigned territory

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for assigned SKUs

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 1 or 2 years of field sales experience (FMCG, Stationery, or consumer goods preferred)

• Strong communication skills in the local language(s) of the territory; knowledge of English / Hindi is an advantage
