MTAR Technologies invites candidates for a walk-in interview for the CNC Turning Operator role in Hyderabad. The position requires ITI or Diploma in Mechanical trades such as Fitter/Turner/Machinist, with 1–10 years of CNC turning experience.

You will read drawings, set up machines, and ensure part accuracy through measuring tools and offsets. Responsibilities include tool selection, loading, secure clamping, and monitoring operations to maintain tolerances on precision components.

Qualifications

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC turning machines/CNC lathes per drawings and process docs.
Set machines, apply tool offsets, adjust work offsets and basic parameters.
Load/unload parts, ensure proper clamping and alignment.
Read drawings, tolerances and machining symbols.
Select cutting tools, inserts and measuring instruments.
Inspect components using measuring gauges and compare to specs.
Monitor operations and apply offset corrections for accuracy.

Qualification: ITI / Diploma Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Machinist or relevant trade
Experience: 1-10 years in CNC Turning operations
Industry: Precision Engineering / Aerospace / Defence / Automotive / General Engineering

Job Responsibilities

Operate CNC Turning machines/ CNC Lathes as per production drawings and process instructions.
Perform machine setting, tool offset corrections, work offsets and basic parameter adjustments.
Load and unload components and ensure proper job clamping and alignment.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining symbols.
Select and use appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders and measuring instruments.
Inspect components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections to maintain dimensional accuracy.

Preferred: Candidates with experience machining precision components in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Energy or high-precision engineering environments.
