Job summary

Genius Consultants in Hyderabad is seeking a CNC Operator to operate and monitor CNC milling and turning machines, read engineering drawings, and set up tooling as required.

The role requires about 1.5 years of hands-on CNC experience, ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or related technical field, and a willingness to work in shifts in a full-time, on-site position at our Hyderabad facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC milling and turning machines as per production requirements.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and machine drawings.
• Set up CNC milling machines, including tool setting and job loading.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine parameter adjustments.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ensure components are manufactured according to specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Identify and report machine or production issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
