The role focuses on maximizing plant efficiency, optimizing material and equipment usage, leading continuous improvement, and coordinating with maintenance, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in any stream (preferably food).
• 6 to 8 years of experience in production/plant management.

Responsibilities

• Production planning and execution of the production plan.
• Create master data in ERP; manage routes and cost roll up.
• Monitor plant efficiency metrics and reporting.
• Oversee warehouse operations and reporting.
• Lead health, safety and environment compliance.
• Ensure optimal use of materials, machines and staff.
• Drive continuous improvement programs at shop floor.
• Coordinate with maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Staff talent management including training and appraisals.
• Liaise with manpower contractors for staffing and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution of Plan
• Creation of Master Data in ERP; Routes and cost roll up.
• Responsible for Plant Efficiency Metrics and reporting
• Manage Warehouse Operations and reporting
• Implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Ensures the Environment policy and procedures are followed.
• Execute policies, programs and procedures that assure products are manufactured meeting defined quality parameters
• Ensures optimum utilization of materials, machines, and employees.
• To work closely with cross department functions to ensure smooth operations.
• Responsible for the Talent Management of the plant staff which include training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing grievances and resolving problems.
• Effective coordination with Plant Maintenance ensuring maximum uptime of equipment.
• To minimize loss on inventory by reducing in process losses and stock variances.
• To effectively lead the Continuous improvement programs at the shop floor level
• Manage outbound Logistics Contracting, monitoring and reporting
• Liaising with manpower contractors for staffing – Contracting, legal compliance and reporting – including attendance.

Bachelors degree /Diploma in any stream (preferably food) with 6 to 8 years of experience.
