Job summary

Hort Bio Technologies is seeking a production leadership role to oversee planning, scheduling, quality, and maintenance across our manufacturing lines. The candidate will drive efficiency, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The ideal applicant has at least 4 years of production experience and is flexible for shifts to support 24/7 operations in our Tamil Nadu facility.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Develops detailed manufacturing timelines and assigns workflows to meet output targets.
• Budget and Cost Management: Estimates expenses, negotiates vendor contracts, and controls resource use to minimize waste and reduce costs.
• Quality Control: Enforces strict quality standards and tracks corrective actions for finished goods.
• Equipment and Maintenance: Oversees machinery maintenance and schedules repairs to prevent downtime.
• Team Leadership: Supervises workers and shift supervisors, handles performance management, and motivates staff to boost productivity.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforces workplace health and safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Equipment and Maintenance: Oversees machinery maintenance, schedules equipment repairs, and ensures operational reliability to prevent costly downtime.
• Team Leadership: Supervises workers and shift supervisors, handles performance management, and motivates staff to boost productivity.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforces workplace health and safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
