Job summary

Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily operations on the factory floor in Anand, Gujarat. You will develop and execute production plans, monitor materials, and drive efficiency while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include leading a manufacturing team, optimizing processes, maintaining KPI reports and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and relevant regulations. Prior experience in production planning and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have manufacturing knowledge and production planning experience.
• Experience with quality control, HACCP/GMP is preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management & Planning:Develop and execute daily/weekly production plans to meet demand. Ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization on the factory floor. Monitor raw material availability and production schedules to prevent bottlenecks.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and FSSAI regulations. Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications. Implement corrective actions to resolve quality or compliance issues.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency:Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes and suggest improvements. Implement lean manufacturing and waste reduction strategies. Optimize machine and labor productivity for cost-effective operations.
• Team Leadership & Workforce Management:Supervise and train production staff to maintain performance standards. Ensure a safe and disciplined working environment. Address and resolve operational challenges in real-time.
• Reporting & Documentation:Maintain accurate production reports, logs, and compliance records. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest improvements. Report any deviations to senior management with corrective actions.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Science Graduate, or ITI.
• Experience:2-5 years of experience working in a factory floor/manufacturing industry.
• If ITI-qualified:7-10 years of production line experience required.
