Job summary

Crust n Crumb Food Ingredients is seeking a production supervisor to plan and oversee shift-based manufacturing activities. The role involves coordinating with maintenance, store, inventory, and sales administration to ensure smooth operations and adherence to GMP guidelines.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing, with exposure to ERP systems and shift-wise reporting. Male candidates are preferred for this position in our Kerala plant.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in production planning and coordination.
• Familiarity with ERP and shop-floor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan shift production activities according to priority from the production executive.
• Prepare job and material requests in ERP for daily production.
• Allocate manpower and supervise production; update logbooks and records shift-wise.
• Physically verify FG stock with pallet slips for export stuffing.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns.
• Assist in GMP audits and track corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Ensure collaboration with Store, Inventory, Purchase and Sales Administration departments.
• Comply with hygienic manufacturing guidelines and report SOP deviations.

Job description

• Plan the shift production activities as per the priority given by the production executive meet the shift wise targets to ensure the smooth operations.
• Creating Job and Material request for daily production activities in ERP.
• Manpower allocation & production supervision All logbooks, registers & records are updated shift wise and analyzing shift output with daily Plan.
• Physical Verification of the FG stock with pallet slips for Export stuffing.
• Coordinate with maintenance team to eliminate/minimize the machine breakdowns
• Assist in Monthly GMP audits and track corrective actions for any non-conformance issues.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including Store & Inventory, Purchase and Sales Administration.
• Compliance to hygienic manufacturing guidelines
• SOP/abnormalities noticed in shifts to be informed to reporting officer.
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.Role & responsibilities
