Job summary
PlanEdu Consultants & Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Academic Counsellor in Bengaluru to counsel students and parents on courses and career paths. You will assess academic backgrounds, goals, and preferences, recommending suitable universities and programs and guiding through admission steps.
The role requires strong communication, counselling, and follow-up skills, with target-driven performance and CRM usage. Fresh graduates with good communication are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with experience in Academic Counselling, Education Consultancy, Admissions, EdTech, or Inside Sales will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about courses, colleges, and career options.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Suggest suitable courses and colleges based on their requirements.
- Explain course details, eligibility, fees, admission process, and deadlines.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with students and parents and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Assist students with the admission process and required documentation.
- Maintain proper records and update student details in the CRM.
- Coordinate with colleges, universities, and internal teams when required.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with students and parents
