Job summary

KG2PG EDU HUB (OPC) PVT LTD is seeking a full-time counselling professional in Bengaluru to guide students and parents through admissions across School to MBA and medical streams. You will handle inquiries, explain programs, and manage lead records, with a focus on converting prospects and achieving targets.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, with incentives and clear career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred with experience in academic or career counselling.
• Experience in education sector preferred.
• Fluent in English and at least two regional languages.
• Willing to work full time, on-site in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized counselling sessions and understand students requirements.
• Generate, follow up on, and convert leads to achieve sales targets.
• Explain courses and programs clearly and address student queries.
• Track sales performance and maintain accurate lead records.
• Counsel students and parents across all education levels: School, PUC, Degree, MBA, Medical (MBBS), and Medical PG.
• Guide students through the enrolment process, including documentation, fee payment, and onboarding.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct personalized counselling sessions and understand students requirements.
• Generate, follow up on, and convert leads to achieve sales targets.
• Explain courses and programs clearly and address student queries.
• Track sales performance and maintain accurate lead records.
• Counsel students and parents across all education levels: School, PUC, Degree, MBA, Medical (MBBS), and Medical PG.
• Recommend suitable courses and programs, and explain curriculum, fees, duration, eligibility, and career outcomes clearly.
• Handle student and parent queries, doubts, and objections with transparency and empathy.
• Make outbound calls and follow-ups on enquiries from campaigns, walk-ins, referrals, and digital channels.
• Guide students through the enrolment process, including documentation, fee payment, and onboarding.
• Update the CRM daily with call notes, status, and follow-up dates.
• Share regular performance reports with the team lead or manager.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on course changes, offers, and competitor offerings.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA preferred.
• Prior experience in academic or career counselling, preferably in the education sector.
• Comfortable with both telephonic and face-to-face counselling.
• Fluent in English and at least two regional language (Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam,Telugu, Tamil is a plus).
• Strong communication, active listening, and persuasion skills, with a student-first approach.
• Willing to work full time, on-site at the Bengaluru office
