We are looking for a Visa Processing Executive to join our visa desk in Malad West, Mumbai. You will help travellers apply for tourist and business visas for destinations such as the UAE, Schengen countries, the UK, the USA, Singapore and Thailand.

You will check documents, fill in application forms, book appointments and keep each applicant informed until the passport is back in their hands. The work calls for accuracy, patience and up to date knowledge of visa rules, since requirements differ by country and change often.

Key responsibilities

• Advise travellers on the right visa category and share the correct, country specific document checklist.
• Collect and verify documents such as passports, photographs, bank statements and supporting letters.
• Complete visa application forms accurately on embassy, consulate and visa application centre portals.
• Book appointments for document submission and biometrics, and brief applicants on what to expect.
• Help applicants prepare cover letters and organise their supporting documents.
• Track every application and give travellers timely status updates.
• Keep up with changes in visa rules, fees and processing times for key destinations.
• Maintain clear records of applications, fees collected and passports handled.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a visa executive or visa consultant in a travel agency or visa services company.
• Working knowledge of tourist and business visa requirements for popular destinations.
• Experience with online visa forms and appointment systems.
• Careful document checking and a strong eye for detail.
• Clear, polite communication in English and Hindi.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• A diploma or certificate in travel and tourism is welcome but not essential.

Good to have

• Hands on experience with Schengen, UK or USA visa applications.
• Experience of handling e visa applications such as the UAE, Thailand or Vietnam.
• Understanding of common visa rejection reasons and how to avoid them.
