Job summary

Adler Talent Solutions in Ahmedabad region seeks a VP Projects to plan, execute and deliver multiple civil construction ventures, bridging site work with senior leadership. The role focuses on ensuring timely completion, cost control, quality compliance, and safety across complex villas and premium developments.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end project execution, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with consultants, PMCs and authorities, and guiding a large on-site team

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction project planning, execution and management.
• Experience leading projects from start to finish, incl. premium villa development.
• Experience in infra works: roads, underground utilities, landscaping, walls.
• Core & Shell and finishing of CLUB projects.
• Managed bulk villa construction (25+ units).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from mobilization to handover.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, drawings and specs are followed.
• Coordinate with consultants, PMCs, and authorities.
• Oversee contractor onboarding, performance, and billing.
• Drive safety and quality assurance on-site.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

VP Projects will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of multiple civil construction projects, ensuring timely completion, cost control, quality compliance, and safety standards. The role bridges site execution and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1.Project Execution & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end execution of assigned projects from mobilization to handover.
• Ensure adherence to approved schedules, budgets, drawings, and specifications.
• Review construction methodologies, work programs, and milestone plans

2. Cost, Quality & Safety

• Monitor project budgets and control cost overruns.
• Achieve A+ grade finishing at civil and finishing levels.
• Ensure quality assurance as per standards, codes, and contractual requirements.
• Enforce HSE practices and statutory compliance across sites.

3. Contractor & Vendor Management

• Oversee contractor onboarding, performance, and billing certification.
• Resolve execution issues related to productivity, materials, and manpower.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials and services.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, architects, PMCs, and authorities.
• Resolve design coordination and consultant-related issues.
• Participate in project review meetings with management and clients.

5. Team Leadership

• Lead the entire Project/Engineering team.
• Drive performance management, discipline, and skill development.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years in construction project planning, execution and management.
• Proven experience in leading projects, from start to finishing stage, especially in premium/luxury weekend/villa development.
• Experience should include:
• Infra works like roads, underground electric & plumbing network, irrigation network, compound wall, landscaping & Common plot development etc.
• Core & Shell and finishing of CLUB
• Should have handled bulk villa construction (minimum 25 at a time)
